About Our Classes

Breathwork in Flagstaff & the High Country

There's something about breathing at 7,000 feet, surrounded by ponderosa pines, that changes the whole experience. Flagstaff sits in one of the largest contiguous ponderosa forests in the world, and the air up here is different - clean, thin, and quiet in a way that the Valley floor just can't replicate. Our breathwork sessions tap into that natural setting. When you lie down and start the practice, you're not fighting city noise or desert heat. You're settling into a mountain town that already feels like it's inviting you to slow down.

Flagstaff draws a particular kind of person. NAU students and faculty looking for something beyond the campus counseling center. Hikers and skiers who push their bodies hard and need a real recovery practice, not just foam rolling. Sedona visitors who drove the extra 30 minutes north because they wanted something grounded and real instead of another vortex tour. Folks passing through on their way to the Grand Canyon who stumble into a class and realize they've been holding their breath for months. This town sits at a crossroads of outdoor athletes, spiritual seekers, and people who moved here specifically because they wanted a slower, more intentional life. Breathwork fits right into that.

What you won't find here is a big-city studio vibe with 40 mats crammed into a room. Flagstaff's wellness community is small and personal - everyone knows each other, and our sessions reflect that. Liquid Breathwork uses a fluid, hypnotic style of guided circular breathing that helps you surrender inward without the intensity of cathartic methods. No yelling, no forced releases. Just deep, powerful breathing paired with a curated sound journey. Whether you live in Kachina Village, commute from Munds Park, or you're a weekend visitor from Phoenix looking to decompress in the pines, our classes offer something you won't get from meditation apps or a yoga class alone.

What to Expect in a Session

Guided Breathing

Each session begins with a grounding exercise followed by 30-45 minutes of guided circular breathing set to a curated sound journey. Your facilitator guides you through the entire experience.

Deep Relaxation & Integration

After the active breathing phase, you'll move into a deep rest period where the real integration happens. Many people describe this as the most peaceful state they've ever experienced.
