Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.
Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.
We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.

Most Breathwork certification today happens over a screen. We teach in person because facilitation is a felt skill. Reading a room, adjusting your pacing, holding space when an emotion surfaces, none of that lands the same way through a webcam. Virtual training over Zoom might be convenient but it pales in comparison to in-person Breathwork certification.
In our in-person Breathwork certification you practice hands-on facilitation with real participants. You give sessions, you receive them, and you lead real Breathwork before you leave, with direct feedback from Ryan and Shelby in the moment. That is the difference between knowing the method and being able to hold it for someone else.
We train in person in Phoenix, Arizona: a three-day intensive workshop, taught the same way every cohort, in the room with you. Comparing this to other in-person Breathwork certification programs? See our Breathwork certification review for the full breakdown.
We keep cohorts small on purpose. In person, that means every student gets practicum time, personal attention, and honest feedback through the whole training.
| What matters to you | In-Person Training | Online Cohort |
|---|---|---|
| Hands-on practice | Practice on real bodies in the room, every day | Practicum guided over live video calls |

| Format | 3-day Phoenix intensive, Friday to Sunday | 12 weeks, live weekly group calls |
| Flexibility | Travel to Phoenix, Arizona on set dates | Join from anywhere, most flexible option |

"The space you both created during the course felt incredibly warm, welcoming, and safe, which made it easy to stay present and engaged throughout. The simplicity of the Breathwork really stayed with me, and I've already started noticing how restorative it is. Grateful for the experience and for both of you!"
